RISOres Application

The application for RISOres is currently closed.

RISOres was founded in 2019 as a program hosted by the Printmaking and Photography areas in the School of Art at the University of Arkansas. The program is a week-long residency during which a visiting artist, designer, or scholar will collaborate with students and faculty to create a distributable fine art publication via Risograph printing. The visitor will also lead workshops in School of Art studios and the Advanced Technologies 2D Lab. We believe in a transmedia approach to art-making. Through the intermingling of diverse methodologies and collaboration, this residency offers an opportunity to discover new possibilities in art publication.

This residency is open to artists working in any media who are interested in creating a Risograph publication. Interested applicants should be committed to sharing their creative process with the School of Art, the larger University, and beyond.

RISOres is made possible by generous funding from the School of Art Endowment.
